the elevator pitch
Hi. I'm Marcus Howard, a born
fault finder and word nerd. Basically, I fix broken English. Here's my resume.
I read my
dictionary and the Associated Press stylebook like novels. It bothers me when
horror-movie villains are called psychopaths and not sociopaths. When washing
my hair, I read the shampoo bottle and rework the description of
what’s happening on my scalp. I lure my friends into conversations about the
fine differences between a hobo and a vagabond, and what separates choking from
suffocation.
